Meet the Guild
Nodens
Miniature Painter, 3D Printer, Terrain Builder, and Woodworker.
Nodens is the lead miniature painter at Roadside Miniatures and a lifelong nerd and maker. With roots in RPGs, tabletop gaming, fantasy, and hands-on craftsmanship, he specializes in everything from tabletop-ready armies to high-end display pieces. His approach to painting is built around storytelling—considering who a character is, where they are, and the world they inhabit before deciding how they should look.
Whether it is a single miniature, an army, a piece of terrain, or something built from scratch, he believes in making things that are meant to last and standing behind the work that leaves his bench.

Johnny Zee
Leatherworker (including armor), Miniature Painter, Painter, Terrain Builder, Photographer, Tattoo Artist and Woodworker.
Johnny Zee is an Army veteran and lifelong artist specializing in leathercraft and tattooing. With a love for RPGs, LARP, Renaissance Fairs, and all things nerd, much of his work draws inspiration from the worlds and communities he has spent a lifetime being part of. His leatherwork ranges from hats and everyday pieces to custom armor and specialty projects, and he is always willing to take on something outside the ordinary.
He stands behind his work and approaches custom projects with a simple discreet philosophy: does it need to be load-bearing, or does it just need to look pretty?
Fey Story
Miniature Painter
Hello! I'm Feystory, a whimsical, slightly-magical, all around painter who specializes with Warhammer and bigger, individual models. Streamer, LARPer with video game history, I grab from real-life to the model all the while also doing high fantasy schemes. I enjoy mostly bright vibrant colors, sometimes realistic and then grim dark.
I enjoy putting detail into my models but at a slower pace than most.
Kristin
Miniature Painter
Hi, I’m Kristin, a miniature painter specializing in colorful, fantasy-inspired pieces. I especially enjoy bringing whimsical subjects like fairies to life, as well as painting detailed army miniatures such as Warhammer figures. I work best on individual pieces or small sets, where I can focus on creativity, character, and detail. While large uniform or matching sets are not my specialty, I take pride in making each miniature feel unique and visually striking.
Painting by the Hill
Miniature Painter and Terrain Builder
Hill has been a part of the larger painting community since 2003. He works on all types and sizes of miniatures, specializing in full army commissions painted to a "Parade Ready" standard. Most of his work has been painting Warhammer 40K and Star Wars Legion. His painting style has been described as "crisp and clean" with a strong adherence to canon color schemes where possible. He also volunteers to run beginner painting classes at his local game shop.

Tavern Keeper
Miniature Painter, Terrain Builder, Amateure Graphic Designer, and 3D Printer.
Kris is and Army veteran and the miniature painter behind Tavern Keeper Studio, with a passion for bringing personality, atmosphere, and a little bit of storytelling to every model that crosses his painting desk. His style is bold and character-driven, combining vibrant colors, strong contrast, deep shadows, expressive faces, and a slightly gritty fantasy aesthetic. Rather than approaching every miniature with the same formula, Kris enjoys exploring color, texture, weathering, and unusual palettes to find the personality of each piece. Whether painting a memorable RPG character, fantasy miniature, or display piece, his goal is to create something distinctive that feels like it has a story of its own and looks just as good on the tabletop as it does sitting on a display shelf.
