Brought low in a single night of treachery, his wings were torn, his crown stolen, and his body hurled from the heights into the festering swamps below.

He did not die.

In the murk and rot of the marshlands, Sovram’s fury simmered—slow, poisonous, patient. Over the decades his form darkened and hardened, merging with the very decay around him. And in that time, a new brood rose from his blood: the Darkscales, twisted descendants who worship him as the rightful master of Dragonmaw.

To them, Sovram is more than a fallen king. He is a promise.
A storm waiting to be unchained.

With every passing year, their devotion sharpens his rage. Soon, they believe, their ancestor will rise from the muck, reclaim his ancient fortress, and bring ruin to the dragon who stole his throne.
